Alice Waters will be joining us for the second time, now to celebrate her latest book, The Art of Simple Food II. In this book she takes us from seed to table, showing readers how to plant, grow, harvest, and serve. Alice Waters is a chef, activist, and proprietor of Chez Panisse Restaurant and Cafe, and has championed local, sustainable farms for four decades. The relationship between Chino Farms and Alice Waters is long and deep, and we are enormously excited to have her return to the series.
Joining Ms. Waters will be renowned wine expert Kermit Lynch, featuring the 25th anniversary edition of his book Adventures on the Wine Route: A Wine Buyer’s Tour of France. The praise for this book has not abated since its publication 25 years ago, when the New York Times called it “one of the finest American books on wine.”
