We are pleased to be rounding out our fall season with a special event featuring Alice Waters and her friend Kermit Lynch. This event will benefit The Edible Schoolyard Project, Alice Waters’ food education program, and will feature a fun afternoon of books, food, wine, and live music.
There is no better place to find Alice Waters — chef, author, and food activist — than at a farm. She will be signing copies of her latest book alongside her friend Kermit Lynch, whom she describes as a “revolutionary wine merchant who, almost single handedly, has brought about a new understanding of wine as a unique expression of land, tradition, and people.”
Bottaro Pizza and their mobile pizza oven will be there making pizzas using seasonal vegetables from Chino Farms, and we will have live music from East of Echo. Ballast Point will be pouring beer samples as well. This is sure to be a popular event, so we recommend that you guarantee your books by pre-ordering copies from us at the PayPal links below; we will have them waiting for you at the event, or if you can’t make it to the event, you can pick up your signed copies at the farm during regular stand hours. These books will make great holiday gifts, along with some other special items we’ll be selling that day.
